Shaktimaan - Our own Superhero

In this world of entertainment we all are in love of superheroes movies, anime or series like Superman, Batman, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk etc. there are lots of superheroes to watch. But if you ask any 90's kids of India you will get to hear only one name i.e. "Shaktimaan - our own superhero".

Shaktimaan is an Indian Superhero which is aired on Doordarshan on every Sunday at 12 noon and kids are very crazy for it. At that time television set is not common in everyone's house, so the person having the television used to charge 1 rupee from everyone who come to watch Shaktimaan on his house it is just like a miniplex experience. In the end of every episode Shaktimaan used to give good habbit lessons to kids.

The popularity of the show was so much that in every fancy dress show you can easily find 3 4 children's wearing a costume of Shaktimaan. Even many kids had jumped from the rooftop by saying that Shaktimaan will come to save them due to which many kids has lost their life.

A hero is not a hero untill there is a villain to fight with and the main villain of Shaktimaan was "Tamraj Kilvish - The Lord of Darkness". His aim was to rule the world by spreading darkness, hatred, sin and evil. The kids were so much scared with the name of Tamraj Kilvish that the every mother used to scared their kids with his name when they are doing notorious things.

But if you watch these series now, you will find it funny and illogical due to it's plot and story. The animation and graphics were not great as compared to the graphics of todays superheroes movies or series. But we cannot ignore the fact that the Shaktimaan was our own superhero of India.

Games Which We Played In School

When we are kids we hate going to school because we have to wake up early in the morning & daily home works from our teachers. But today when we think about the school days we start smiling and at the same time we feel sad too because these days are not going to came back in our life. So lets go back in our school through my artical and have a glimpse of the game which we played during the free periods and in the lunch break.

 1. Pen Fight

This is the best game which we played in our school days. We are so crazy about it that we used to played series of it. Winning these game series make us feel like a champion. We are so serious about these game that we used to bring heavy pen so that we can win the match easily.

 2. BINGO

If we look at the last pages of our notebooks we can find that last pages of everyone's notebook was filled with these game . In these game we write the no. from 1 to 25 in 25 piece of papers and every one make a table of 5×5 with randon numbers from 1 to 25 written in each box. One by one we pick the piece of paper and cut the no which is written in it from our table and the person who complete first is the winner.

 3. FLAMES

FLAMES, through these game we use to find the relationship between a boy and girl, that she is yours friend, enemy, sister or lover. This game is so popular that a web series is made on it's name.

 4. Name Place Animal & Thing

I can say these game has helped all the students of our time to learn about new words, place, animal and things. In these game we have to write the name of any person, place, animal and thing starting from the letter which came in the paper piece and to win these game we used to learn new names and words by reading different books.

 5. Tip Tip Tap Toa

It is a game mixed with a paper craft in which we used to write the name of four colours on the top as you see in the pic and 8 numbers behind it from 1 to 8. Under each no. a secret pet name is written and the person has to select any no. which is shown to him and the pet name which he get, we use to call him with that name only for the whole day it was really a great fun.
